CBS “Face the Nation” moderator Margaret Brennan struggled to digest numbers from a recent poll showing nearly two in three Americans support mass deportation of illegal immigrants. Brennan appeared incredulous when pondering recent figures on Sunday showing that 62% of all Americans back “in principle, a new government program to deport all undocumented immigrants living in the US illegally.” The “Face the Nation” host reacted to survey figures presented by Anthony Salvanto, the top CBS News pollster, who noted that supporters of former President Donald Trump, as well as some Democrats, were in favor of mass deportations. Spotify’s platform “revolutionized” content streaming, as Spotify likes to remind us.“We are the world’s most popular streaming subscription service with more than 615 million users,” the media service provider boasts. Now Sweden-based Spotify is positioning itself as a gatekeeper of election information, rolling out a massive censoring machine targeting what the streaming giant deems as “disinformation” — just in time for a U.S. presidential election that has big-monied leftists uniting to keep former President Donald Trump from returning to the White House...

#5 Who Watches the Watchdogs? Group Overseeing Inspectors General Under Pressure - Haisten Willis for Washington Examiner, and Rep Andy Biggs on X

The ouster of a second federal government inspector general within two months is raising questions about the group that oversees them. Social Security Administration Inspector General Gail Ennis resigned on May 31 amid a lengthy investigation into her office.  Inspectors general are charged with overseeing various government agencies, and are themselves overseen by a group of fellow watchdogs called the Integrity Committee of the Counsel of Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency. CIGIE is increasingly finding itself accused of harassment and politicization. “The more we learn about the Integrity Committee, the more concerns I have about the way it operates,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) said. “It appears they selectively choose which allegations to fully investigate. They have weaponized their investigative process against Inspectors General who are out of step with the goals and desires of the committee itself.”

As the days wind down to the 2024 general election, Senate Democrats are emphasizing reproductive rights such as birth control and IVF and saying that Republicans will look to ban those services in addition to abortion if they gain power.
