Congressional Democrats Using Lenin’s Rules on Police Reform Bills

This past week, Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina led the charge in the Senate for a police reform bill. Democrats looked at it and said they would need to add five amendments. As reported by Scott during an interview on Fox News, he said, "okay." Then Democrats said they would need to add 20 amendments. Again, Scott said, "Okay." Scott even offered Democrats a "managers amendment," which would let Democrats rewrite the parts of the bill they thought needed rewriting.

Still, Senate Democrats said, "No," with Senator Schumer dismissing the bill as “not salvageable.”  In fact, as reported by Reagan McCarthy at TownHall, Senate Democrats filibustered Scott's legislation so they couldn't even debate it.

On the other side of the Capitol building, House Democrats created their own police reform bill. According to Senator Scott, the Senate bill and the House bill had 70% similar content, yet House Democrats refused to entertain even a single Republican amendment.

None.

Not even one.

And, because Democrats control the House, their bill passed 236 - 181. Three Republicans joined the Democrats in voting for the bill. Or should I say, three people who call themselves Republicans voted for the bill.

McCarthy writes that given its radical language, the House's bill will not be taken up by the Senate, and therefore will never make it to the President's desk.

Congressional Democrats are clearly following Lenin’s rules

Let’s take a look at what the Democrats are doing.

Remember back in March, when Republicans and Democrats in the Senate collaborated on a stimulus bill to help people during the Covid shutdowns? When Nancy Pelosi heard what the Senate was doing, she signaled her servant, Senator Schumer, to put a halt to it.

Never mind that Democrat Senators, each representing their own state, had, of their own free will, spent several days talking with Senate Republicans to create a stimulus bill amenable to both parties. But when Pelosi said, "No!" Schumer told them they couldn't move forward with it.

Then, in less than 48 hours, Pelosi and her team cranked out a 2,000 page document that had so much pork in it, certain members of congress must have violated their religious beliefs just to have it on their desks.

Side note: Every thinking human on the planet recognizes that Pelosi’s relief bill had so many legally meticulous actions, it would have been impossible to write it in 48 hours. It had to have been already written, sitting in her desk drawer, a solution waiting for a problem to appear. But I digress.

My point here is that Democrats were not going to let a Republican Senate come up with a solution. To allow Republicans to help the American people is against the rules.

The same is true with these police reform bills. As Senator Scott stated during the Fox interview, "It wasn't what we were talking about, it was who was talking." It was Republicans offering a solution.

These tactics comes straight from Lenin's rule book for how he set things up to usher in the 1917 October Revolution, which brought Marxism to Russia:

  • It was Lenin and the Bolsheviks who would issue the declarations and say, in essence, the time for debate was over.
  • It was Lenin and the Bolsheviks who decided they would break completely with the present government.
  • It was Lenin and the Bolsheviks who decided that only their solutions could save the country.

The signs are all around us. The riots are not about race, and the Seattle occupation was not a protest. American patriots need to realize they're not fighting with Democrats who merely have a different view on how to interpret the Constitution; they're fighting against Marxists who want to disassemble the United States' form of government.

Senator Scott knows what’s up. He told Fox News that Democrats have no desire to resolve the police reform issue before the election. He's right. And not only that, Congressional Democrats have set things up so they can paint Republicans as obstructionists.

Consider this:

The Democrat’s bill is titled the "George Floyd Justice in Policing Act." It’s full of radical left-wing proposals, and Democrats know no sane American will agree to it. So, when the Senate refuses to pass it (and they won't), both the Democrats and their public relations department known as the legacy media will excoriate Republican Senators, saying:

  • They're dishonoring the death of George Floyd
  • They're refusing to establish justice in America
  • They aren't supporting police reform

Those evil, mean Republicans! How can you possibly vote for them?

Of course, Pelosi is already getting a head start with this. She was on CNN the other day, saying, "So far they're trying to get away with murder, actually. The murder of George Floyd."

Or is it George Kirby? Nancy gets confused at times.

What Pelosi and Schumer are not confused about is what side they're on. They clearly cannot be called American patriots because they do not seek to support, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. They give the Constitution lip service, but they’re following Lenin's play book, so that should tell you their allegiance.

Bottom line, American patriots need to know the motives and tactics of their enemies, both foreign and domestic. And stand, without compromise, for what's right.
