Twitter and Facebook users are jumping ship to alternative platforms. Parler, an alternative to Twitter, has been getting so many new subscribers they’ve had to add extra servers to keep up with explosive demand. MeWe, an alternative to Facebook, is also seeing a huge influx of new users, but so far they’ve been able to keep up with the number of people freeing themselves from the Facebook overlords.
In today’s show, Daniel shares some of the reasons for the migration – such as tweets from US Senators and even the President of the United States getting flagged for “false, disputed, or misleading” information. People are tired of being unable to discuss news freely without being electronically molested by a 20-something Marxist dweeb!
Toward he end of the show, Daniel provides a brief overview of several alternative social media platforms.
